Changing Contrary Covenants
Isaiah 60:1-3
The covenant of God for His children is that of the BLESSING (Isaiah 60:2b).
WHAT ARE CONTRARY COVENANTS?
They are the results of evil occurrences that arise from the platforms of entering into wrong covenant with the gate keepers of darkness (Isaiah 60:2a).
BIBLICAL EXAMPLES OF CONTRARY COVENANTS
1. Adam, Eve and the deceptive serpent (Genesis 3:1).
2. Israel and the golden idol in the wilderness (Exodus 32:4).
3. Judas and the 30 piece of silver (Matthew 26:15).
4. Demas and worldly lucre (2Timothy 4:10).
HOW TO CHANGE CONTRARY COVENANTS?
I. Reconnect back to God (Proverbs 1:23).
ii. Connect the change you want to see to a worthy sacrifice to God (Psalm 50:5-8).
iii. Be open to the word (2Corinthians 3:18).
iv. Use the instrumentality of the blood of Jesus Christ (1Peter 1:18-19).
v. Turn away from idols worship (Hosea 4:17).
THE BLESSEDNESS OF A GODLY COVENANT
A. You are indestructible (Isaiah 65:8).
B. You are a carrier of God’s presence (Exodus 33:14).
C. A carrier of the blessing (Genesis 12:2).
